Facto Saatchi & Saatchi Madagascar
The core business of EDL Mass Market & Industries (EDL MMI) is logistics. The three existing units: PROGDIS, LOGDIS and ALDIS, are specialized for 25 years on the distribution of consumer goods in the luxury cosmetics, hygiene and food sectors. EDL MMI wants to highlight its know-how as a representative of brands. For this, a new identity more emblematic of its expertise and of the quality of the partners was essential.
Rebranding of the 4 units
ODDIS
PROGDIS becomes ODDIS. The unit specialized in distribution of luxury cosmetics brands (L’oréal, Garnier, Maybelline, etc.). ODDIS can phonetically refer to either the “Odyssey”: an ancient mythic world, or the ODE as a form of poesy. This name therefore suggests a certain elevation. The gold color has been selected for obvious reasons.
ALDIS
Specialized in the distribution of food products (Unilever: Blueband / Lactalis / Pepsi Snackings Co: Lay’s …), here the name has not changed. The color “BLUE” refers to freshness.
HYDIS
LOGDIS becomes HYDIS. HYDIS is the unit specialized in the distribution of general hygiene products (Unilever: Omo, Signal / MonSavon / Williams / Catch …). The root “HY” refers to hygiene. The sound of HYDIS is lighter, more fluid than the previous name. The pink color” is used for reference to the body.
INDIS
The group has a subsidiary specialized in the distribution of industrial cleaning products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) and catering products to businesses and organizations. B to B logistics activities will be handled by the new INDIS unit. The root “IN” comes from “institutional”. The “GREEN” evokes the involvement in sustainable development.
