Tiako ny Antsika is the logo indicating that the products are made in Madagascar. In a context of strong competition from low-cost asiatic products, the Malagasy industry union (SIM) launches in end 2016 a major campaign to encourage consumers to favor local products.
The logo appears on all malagasy consumer goods whose producer is member of the SIM. TIAKO NY ANTSIKA literally means “I love what we produce at Mada”. This message with strong emotional bias, will facilitate the appropriation by large public. The symbol in geometric “Origami” style suggests transformation and manufacture, toughness, reliability. The upper part evokes the “M” of Madagascar and the shape of the island, the green refers to sustainable development.The red bottom part is a check of validation, conformity, guarantee of quality and origin. The heart thus formed brings an emotional dimension, in harmony with the tagline.
Implementation
Tiako ny Antsika logo appears since end 2016 on consumer goods, on the commercial fairs communication and for all industrial leaders interviews (member of the SIM).
